Steve's journey in futures thinking involves exploration, creation, and disruption, aiming to make futures thinking accessible to all. He focuses on empowering individuals to anticipate challenges and navigate change. Passionate about space and making humanity multi-planetary, Steve has 20 years of experience in the space industry, believing we are on the cusp of expanding to the moon, Mars, Venus, and beyond.

Dr. John A. Sweeney

Dr. John A. Sweeney is an award-winning futurist, designer, and author. He has worked in over 40 countries on five continents with extensive experience in Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and the MENA region. At present, he is an Associate Professor of Futures and Foresight at Narxoz University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. John also serves as a Fellow at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Executive Education program focusing on futures thinking and scenario planning. As the project lead, John has organized, managed, and facilitated futures and foresight initiatives, trainings, seminars, and stakeholder engagement projects for numerous UN agencies, INGOs, government innovation units, start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. John completed a PhD at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa focused on alternative futures under the direction of Jim Dator. He tweets on trends, emerging issues, and all things postnormal at @aloha_futures.

With 15+ years in marketing, strategy, and innovation, she previously built the strategic futures function at Mars Wrigley. Jo co-founded the Foresight Inside Group (FIG), an exclusive network for corporate futurists, and hosts the "Looking Outside" podcast exploring diverse perspectives on business innovation. Her background combines Professional Writing and Philosophy with futures studies and marketing expertise, embodying her belief that "curiosity drives innovation."

Rene Rohrbeck

René Rohrbeck is Professor of Strategy and director of the chair on “Foresight, Innovation and Transformation” at the EDHEC Business School, France. He holds a doctorate from the Technical University Berlin. In his main research field “Corporate Foresight” he is an internationally recognized thought leader and award winner.  In his research he develops methods for participatory foresight, scenario-based strategizing and conducts regular benchmarking studies on the Future FITness of organizations. René Rohrbeck has developed a portfolio of Executive Education courses on strategic foresight, which he has delivered around the world, both as open programs and customized courses for individual organizations. He teaches Strategy, Strategic Foresight, and Business Model Innovation on different MBA programs.
